Anticipated yields in plantations of black spruce in the black spruce forest ecological domain

, : Anticipated yields in plantations of black spruce in the black spruce forest ecological domain. Note de Recherche Forestiere Direction de la Recherche Forestiere Quebec ( 109): 11 pp.

In 1998, sample plots (41) were established in the oldest northern black spruce (Picea mariana) plantations in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region of Quebec, Canada, in order to check whether the anticipated yields for these plantations can be obtained. Another objective was to develop, if possible, prediction models for site quality using ecological characteristics.
