This study was conducted to investigate the extent of knowledge and adoption of improved modern cattle management practices among dairy farmers in Thiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, India, and to identify the constraints faced by the dairy farmers in adopting these modern practices. 100 respondents were selected. Majority of farmers had medium (51%) level of knowledge about the modern cattle management, whereas 29 and 20% of farmers had high and low levels of knowledge, respectively.
