Effect of Alpinia oxyphylla fruit extract on compound 48/80-induced anaphylactic reactions

, : Effect of Alpinia oxyphylla fruit extract on compound 48/80-induced anaphylactic reactions. American Journal of Chinese Medicine 29(2): 293-302

The effect of aqueous extracts of A. oxytrophylla fruits (AOFE) on compound 48/80-induced anaphylactic reaction and intracellular cAMP levels in rat peritoneal mast cells (RPMC), and histamine release from (RPMC) was investigated. AOFE completely inhibited compound 48/80 systemic anaphylactic shock at a dose of 1.0 g/kg.
