, : Effect of planting time and clove size on the growth and yield of garlic. Bangladesh Journal of Training and Development 13(1/2): 67-74

The present investigation was conducted to find the effect of planting date (10 October, 10 November and 10 December) and clove size (large-1.94 g, medium-1.4 g and small-0.7 g) on the growth and yield of garlic in Bangladesh during October 1999 to April 2000. Planting date had significant influence on the growth and yield of garlic. Yield and yield contributing characters were maximum in 10 October planting compared to that of 10 November and 10 December plantings.
