Effect of thiourea on soluble protein contents, peroxidase and superoxide dismutase activities of radish

, : Effect of thiourea on soluble protein contents, peroxidase and superoxide dismutase activities of radish. Plant Physiology Communications 37(6): 525-526

In a pot experiment, radish (Raphanus sativus) Dihuangying seedlings were sprayed with thiourea at 1.0, 10 or 50 mg/litre. After 20 days, the physiological indexes were tested. The content of soluble protein and activity of SOD in radish roots treated with 1-50 mg/litre of thiourea increased, but the activity of POD decreased.
