Effects of uniconazole on growth, photosynthesis and yield of longan

, : Effects of uniconazole on growth, photosynthesis and yield of longan. Acta Horticulturae (558): 289-292

In a field trial conducted in Guangdong, China during 1998 and 1999, uniconazole was sprayed at 0, 50, 100, 200 or 400 mg/l on eight-year-old longan trees of Shixia. Uniconazole decreased shoot length, leaf area and specific leaf area, and increased leaf thickness and mesophyll density. The application of uniconazole slightly increased leaf chlorophyll, carotenoid content and net photosynthetic rate.
