Evaluation of time and dose of application of Butanilmon 12346 in dry seeded rainfed rice

, : Evaluation of time and dose of application of Butanilmon 12346 in dry seeded rainfed rice. Indian Journal of Dryland Agricultural Research and Development 15(2): 158-160

An experiment was conducted in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, India, to evaluate the time and rate of application of the new chemical, Butanil (Mon 12346), on dry sown, rainfed rice PMK 2. Butanil was applied at 3000, 4000, 5000 and 6000 ml/ha at 10 and 15 days after sowing (DAS). Butachlor, thiobencarb, and hand weeding thrice at 15, 30 and 45 DAS were used as control. Butanil phytotoxicity was higher at 6000 ml/ha applied 10 DAS compared to other treatments.
