Exchange-adsorption characteristics of aluminum and manganous ions by red soils. II. Non-electrostatic adsorption of aluminum and manganous ions

, : Exchange-adsorption characteristics of aluminum and manganous ions by red soils. II. Non-electrostatic adsorption of aluminum and manganous ions. Acta Pedologica Sinica 40(4): 562-566

Exchange-adsorption of aluminium and manganese ions by red soils in China were investigated. The non-electrical adsorption of aluminium and manganese ions was related to either the adsorption capacity of solid phase or adsorption intensity of ion. For the ion exchange reaction in soils, it seemed impossible to obtain an equilibrium constant, k. K and 1/n were also not fixed values.
