Genetic variations in some reproductive traits of Egyptian buffaloes using multi-trait animal model

, : Genetic variations in some reproductive traits of Egyptian buffaloes using multi-trait animal model. Proceedings of the 7th World Congress on Genetics Applied to Livestock Production, Montpellier, France, August, 2002 Session 7: 0-4

Identified and pedigreed reproductive records of 2289 Egyptian buffaloes were collected from four different farms The 1st data set comprised records of lactation length less than 305 days (LP<305) and the 2nd comprised records of lactation length more than or equal 305 days (LP>=305). These sets were analysed using multi-trait animal model to estimate genetic variations for some reproductive traits in Egyptian buffaloes.
