INCA study: prevalence of childhood obesity

, : INCA study: prevalence of childhood obesity. Cahiers de Nutrition et de Dietetique 36(6): 405-411

During the French national cross-sectional INCA individual dietary study, conducted in 1998-1999, 1,018 children aged 3 to 14 were studied. Overweight and obesity prevalences were assessed, with respect to the definitions recently established by the International Obesity Task Force: 11.6% of the children were overweight and 3.5% were obese.
