IPM improvement on pome fruit orchards in Emilia-Romagna (Italy)

, : IPM improvement on pome fruit orchards in Emilia-Romagna (Italy). Bulletin OILB/SROP 22(7): 111-120

Field experiments were conducted in Italy to study pest infestation on pome fruits and to evaluate the efficacy of various insecticides against the prevailing pests. In 1995 and 1997, oxydemeton-methyl (50 or 100% a.i.), alone or with 300% a.i. amino acid or soap (as adjuvant), was as effective as metasystox (50 or 100% a.i. g-cc/hl), alone or with 30% a.i. Siapton or Megafol (all treatments applied at the preflowering stage), in controlling Dysaphis plantaginea on apple Copper 4.
