Two nitrogen balance trials after partial deletion of dietary amino acids (AA) were conducted to investigate the ideal balance pattern of dietary digestible lysine (Lys), sulphur-containing AA (SAA), threonine (Thr) and tryptophan (Trp) for two genotype pigs, Yorkshire x Landrace castrates (YL) with 60% lean meat in the carcass and Yanan castrates (YN), a local breed with 45% lean meat in the carcass.
