Identification and analysis of early indica rice quality under different environmental conditions

, : Identification and analysis of early indica rice quality under different environmental conditions. Fujian Journal of Agricultural Sciences 17(3): 135-139

Nine rice quality traits, including appearance, milling and cooking quality, of 48 early indica rice varieties planted in early or late seasons were determined. For early cultivars, the first-class quality traits of the ratio of length to width of brown rice, % of brown rice, % of head rice, % of chalky grain, chalkiness, and amylose content were found in 58.33, 4.17, 85.80, 2.08, 0, and 10.42% of total cultivars, respectively.
