Identification and biology of the causal agent of red raspberry rust (Rubus idaeus L.)

, : Identification and biology of the causal agent of red raspberry rust (Rubus idaeus L.). Revista Mexicana de Fitopatologia 19(2): 168-174

The red raspberry area cultivated in Mexico is 160 ha. Yellow rust is the main disease because it causes important economic losses when the fruit is affected. A research was undertaken to identify the causal agent and to learn about some biological aspects under laboratory and field conditions.
