Identification and determination of active components in Gentiana rigescens Franch by micellar electrokinetic chromatography

, : Identification and determination of active components in Gentiana rigescens Franch by micellar electrokinetic chromatography. HRC, Journal of high Resolution Chromatography 23(12): 697-698

A simple and rapid method, micellar electrokinetic chromatography (MEKC), was developed for separation and determination of gentiopicroside (GE) and swertiamarin (SW) in G. rigescens. The method combines the advantages of reversed-phase chromatography and capillary electrophoresis. The proposed method is significantly faster than HPLC, and provides quick and comfortable sample preparation without any organic solvent.
