Identification and genetic relationship analysis of Amygdalus spp. by molecular markers

, : Identification and genetic relationship analysis of Amygdalus spp. by molecular markers. Journal of Huazhong Agricultural University 20(3): 199-204

DNA was extracted from the young leaves of major species and types of Amygdalus gathered from several research institutes across China. DNA was amplified with 22 selected random primers using the RAPD (random amplified polymorphic DNA) technique. The number of DNA fragments amplified by different primers varied from 3 to 13 bands, and their molecular sizes from 300 bp to 3 kb.
