Identification of levels of crop conditions in grassland on bog soils and possibilities of recultivating fallow grassland

, : Identification of levels of crop conditions in grassland on bog soils and possibilities of recultivating fallow grassland. Berichte uber Landwirtschaft 79(3): 437-446

Since a major part of the permanent grassland growing on bog soils in the German nature conservation area of "Federseeried" is no longer properly used by agriculture, its plant associations show different levels of development. The paper presents a method describing different levels of crop conditions. These levels form the basis for the valuation of agricultural land in land consolidation schemes.
