Identification of Candida spp in infected tissue with hybridization in situ

, : Identification of Candida spp in infected tissue with hybridization in situ. Journal of Clinical Dermatology 31(2): 69-71

To set up hybridization in situ methods, which can identify opportunistic fungi in tissue, probe 020 was used on infected mice and clinical specimens. Periodic Acid Schiff (PAS) and immunostaining with polyclonal anti-Candida albicans antibody were used as control. The results revealed that probe 020 could specifically confirm C. albicans and C. tropicalis in infected mice tissues and clinical specimens, and coincide with the results of PAS and immunostaining.
