Identification of Colletotrichum lindemuthianum race 73 in Manitoba, Canada

, : Identification of Colletotrichum lindemuthianum race 73 in Manitoba, Canada. Canadian Journal of Plant Pathology 25(1): 104-107

C. lindemuthianum was isolated from six dry bean (Phaseolus vulgaris) samples grown in Manitoba in 2001. The isolates were inoculated onto a set of 12 differential accessions for race identification. All isolates produced sporulating lesions only on differentials 'Michelite' (navy bean) and 'Cornell 49242' and 'Mexico 222' (black beans), a reaction profile typical of race 73.
