Identification of Hantavirus Seoul subtype Gou3 strain by complete S sequence analysis

, : Identification of Hantavirus Seoul subtype Gou3 strain by complete S sequence analysis. Chinese Journal of Zoonoses 17(6): 23-25

Total RNA was extracted from Hantavirus Gou3-infected Vero cells, and RT-PCR products were purified and cloned into the T vector and sequenced. The complete S genome of the Gou3 strain is 1732 nucleotides in length, with a single open reading frame extending from 43 to 1332 encoding 429 amino acids.
