Phenotypic stability in maize

, : Phenotypic stability in maize. Advances in Plant Sciences 13(2): 525-529

Field experiments were conducted to determine the phenotypic stability of 16 maize cultivars during 1993-96, in Pahalgam, Kashmir, India. Significant genotype environment interaction was observed for all the traits studied (days to 50% silk, plant height, ear height, barren plant, moisture content and grain yield). Plant and ear height exhibited a non-significant linear component of genotype environment interaction.
