Soil moisture measurement through Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR). Irrigation application

, : Soil moisture measurement through Time Domain Reflectometry (TDR). Irrigation application. Ingenieria Hidraulica en Mexico 17(1): 5-12

Soil moisture in soil planted with maize and irrigated by gravity in closed furrows was studied using the neutron and time domain reflectometry (TDR) methods. Eventhough the absolute determinations of moisture were different in the 30- to 90-cm profiles, moisture variations were similar in all cases and responded consequently to the addition of water and to evapotranspiration.
