An experiment was conducted in Periyakulam, Tamil Nadu, India during 1998-99 to determine the optimum propagation technique for aonla (Emblica officinalis establishment. The highest shoot length, root length, root weight, maximum root spread, total number of leaves, determinate shoots, and biomass production were recorded with ground inarching followed by air inarching.
