Studies on the relationship between incidence of plant parasitic nematodes and cropping systems in lowland and upland fields in Indonesia

, : Studies on the relationship between incidence of plant parasitic nematodes and cropping systems in lowland and upland fields in Indonesia. JIRCAS Working Report (24): A1-A20

To determine the nematode fauna in upland and lowland fields in Sulawesi, Indonesia, 492 soil samples collected were examined for nematode genera. At least 20 genera of plant parasitic nematodes were detected. The most frequently detected genera were Helicotylenchus, Filenchus, Meloidogyne, Pratylenchus, Rotylenchulus and Aphelenchoides. In rice, Hirschmanniella, Helicotylenchus, Meloidogyne and Tylenchorhynchus were more frequent.
