Study on the preparation of purified PHKC rabies vaccine with GHKC-adapted rabies virus strain

, : Study on the preparation of purified PHKC rabies vaccine with GHKC-adapted rabies virus strain. Journal of Microbiology 21(1): 24-26

By culturing and propagating aG strain of rabies virus in primary golden hamster kidney cells (GHKC), a new adapted strain, CaG strain, was selected. Since this method is simple, cheap, and has low probability of external contamination, the strain was tested for producing purified rabies vaccine. Under the same conditions and same procedure, three batches of virus supernatants with different viruses' strain were produced and purified into rabies vaccines.
