Technology for mass-multiplication of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi for field inoculation to sweet potato

, : Technology for mass-multiplication of arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungi for field inoculation to sweet potato. Mycorrhiza News 14(1): 11-12

A study was conducted to develop a technology for the mass multiplication and mass inoculation of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (Glomus microcarpum) to field-grown sweet potato Kanjangad. Sweet potato vine cuttings were collected, stacked and kept for defoliation. Mycorrhizal inoculation was done batch-wise by planting the stacks in pots containing inoculum at two fertility phosphorus levels: high (140 ppm) and low (69.75 ppm).
