The comparison of yield, sward structure, and nutritive value between Para grass and Ubon paspalum was carried out over a 135-day period during the dry season. The results showed that Ubon paspalum had higher total dry matter (DM) yield and leaf yield, but lower crude protein (CP) level and cell wall content than Para grass. Leaf digestibilities for both species were at similar levels. However, bulk density in both species decreased with increasing plant height.
