Genetic origin of pedunculate oak in Croatia

, : Genetic origin of pedunculate oak in Croatia. Znanost u potrajnom gospodarenju hrvatskim sumama: znastvena knjiga: 253-260

In this investigation 39 populations of oaks from Quercus sensu stricto group (36 of pedunculate oak, and one of pubescent, hungarian and sessile oak each) was sampled in North and Southwest Croatia. From average of five individuals per population DNA was extracted using c-tab protocol and four cpDNA segments were amplified by PCR. Products of amplification were digested by restriction enzymes and obtained fragments separated by electrophoresis.
