How to reconcile agricultural production and biodiversity? An explanation of the situation in Brittany

, : How to reconcile agricultural production and biodiversity? An explanation of the situation in Brittany. Fourrages (179): 443-445

Agricultural development in Brittany, France is based on intensive practices with negative effects on the environment and biodiversity. An increasing number of farmers, however, implement corrective measures, even without public subsidies. This is the case of a dairy farm based in a mussel production area on the south Morbihan coast. The farm is organized in 2 sites, one right on the coast and the other in a less sensitive area.
