Intercroppings for management of sorghum shoot fly

, : Intercroppings for management of sorghum shoot fly. Annals of Plant Protection Sciences 13(1): 237-238

An experiment was conducted to evaluate some intercropping systems for the management of sorghum shoot fly (Atherigona soccata) during kharif season. Sorghum (cv. CSG-16) was intercropped with coriander, onion, garlic and dill compared with 3 g carbofuran/m. The lowest number of eggs per plant in sorghum + garlic and sorghum + onion were at par with sorghum + coriander and sorghum + dill.
