Light status of crowns and chemical composition of trees leaves in apple orchards of various constructions

, : Light status of crowns and chemical composition of trees leaves in apple orchards of various constructions. Plodovodstvo 16: 136-143

Six planting schemes were established in 1994 in Minsk province, Belarus, with apple scion cultivars Antei and Tellisaare on rootstocks 54-118 (semidwarf) and 62-396 (dwarf). The schemes differed in number of rows, tree spacing and tree density/ha. Crowns were trained into the Belarussian axis form, except in the control where it was a free flat crown.
