New N-alkylsulfonamides and alkyl sulfonates derived from 6-C-sulfosugars

, : New N-alkylsulfonamides and alkyl sulfonates derived from 6-C-sulfosugars. Tetrahedron 58(39): 7967-7973

The potential use as antihypertensive, antiglaucoma, antibacterial, antiviral, antiprotozoal, antifungal, and antitumoral agents as well as therapeutic drugs for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, male erectile dysfunction, and obesity has been reported. Furthermore, some of them have proved to be useful as herbicides and plaguicides.
