This study comprised 1517 Karnobat Finewool sheep, including 621 in the village of Konevetc born in 1989-1995, those (n=453) from the flock in the Experimental Base NIGO-Stara Zagora and 443 in the Agricultural Institute-Karnobat born in 1992-1996. Basic selection traits of wool production were studied: greasy wool, wool yield, clean wool, staple length and fineness of wool at 18 months and 2.5 years of age.
