Selenium and other trace elements in water, sediment, aquatic plants, aquatic invertebrates, and fish from streams in SE Idaho near phosphate mining

, : Selenium and other trace elements in water, sediment, aquatic plants, aquatic invertebrates, and fish from streams in SE Idaho near phosphate mining. Life cycle of the phosphoria formation: from deposition to the post mining environment: 483-525

Nine stream sites in the Blackfoot River watershed in SE Idaho, USA were sampled in June 2000 for water, surficial sediment, aquatic plants, aquatic invertebrates, and fish. These sites include the Angus Creek, upper and lower East Mill Creek, Trail Creek, upper and lower Slug Creek, Sheep Creek, Dry Valley Creek and lower Blackfoot River. Selenium (Se) and other elements were measured in these aquatic ecosystem components and a hazard assessment was performed on the data.
