Simultaneous selection for high yield and stability in winter chickpea

, : Simultaneous selection for high yield and stability in winter chickpea. Ege Universitesi Ziraat Fakultesi Dergisi 40(1): 41-48

Some newly-developed chickpea (Cicer arietinum) lines were tested along with the control cultivars in two different populations at Bornova-Izmir, Turkey, in the 1997/98, 1998/99 and 1999-2000 growing seasons to determine the usefulness of a few yield-stability statistics for selecting simultaneously high yielding and stable genotypes in winter sowing.
