, : Study on induction and regeneration of Milpa Alta edible cactus. Journal of Jilin Agricultural University 27(3): 268-271, 275

The effects of explant age (3, 5 or 10 days old), position of the explant in the plant (top, upper, middle or lower), and culture media (Murashige and Skoog's medium supplemented with 0.5 mg 6-BA + 0.1 mg NAA, or with 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 or 3.0 mg 6-BA + 0.5 mg NAA/litre, and MB medium supplemented with 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0 mg 6-BA + 0.2 mg NAA or 5.0 mg 6-BA + 0.5 mg NAA/litre) on the induction and regeneration of Milpa Alta edible cactus using young shoots as explants were studied.
