, : The effectiveness of combining different genotypes of the Landrace pig breed. Svinovodstvo Moskva (1): 9-10

Since 1999, work has been being carried out at the "Krasnyi Oktyabr'" breeding farm (Kirovskaya Oblast', Russia) with the aim of improving the meat and fattening qualities of Landrace pigs. The fattening and meat qualities (age at which reached a live weight of 100kg, average daily weight gain, feed consumption per kg growth, fat thickness) of parental and F1 genotypes used in the formation of new lines are tabulated. The use of Landrace pigs of two different genotypes (from Plemzavod imeni V.
