Valgus-varus deformity in broiler chickens


, : Valgus-varus deformity in broiler chickens. Indian Veterinary Journal 80(11): 1189-1190

In this study, the incidence of valgus-varus and other leg deformities in broilers in Iran was investigated It was shown that there was a 1.8% (180) incidence of valgus-varus out of 10 000 broilers at 52 days of age. Distal tibial dyschondroplasia (11.1%), slipped gastrocnemius tendons (73.3%) and arthritis-tenosynovitis were also diagnosed.
