Infertility in a bitch with history of recurrent reproductive failure associated with granulosa cell tumor

, : Infertility in a bitch with history of recurrent reproductive failure associated with granulosa cell tumor. Revista Colombiana de Ciencias Pecuarias 18(3): 258-268

The clinical and pathological findings in a 3-year-and-7-month-old female Bulldog in Colombia with a history of infertility/reproductive failure during the last four oestrus cycles are described. A bilateral granulosa cell tumour in the ovaries which showed a mixture of cystic and sertoli cell patterns was diagnosed. These findings are discussed in the context of a granulosa cell tumour-related hyperoestrogenic response and its relationship to the reproductive failure of the bitch.
