Risk factors for infection by bovine herpesvirus 1 in dairy calves from Argentina

, : Risk factors for infection by bovine herpesvirus 1 in dairy calves from Argentina. Buletinul Universitatii de Stiinte Agricole si Medicina Veterinara Cluj Napoca, Seria Medicina Veterinara 62: 348-354

An epidemiological survey was conducted on 852 calves from 55 dairy farms in Cordoba and Sante Fe, Argentina, in 2000-2002 to determine the risk factors for bovine herpesvirus 1 (BHV-1) infection. Questionnaires on host, environment, sanitary and handling features were used and blood samples were analysed using ELISA. Descriptive, bivariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed to analyse the data.
