A method of labeling norwegian rat bones by combining 4 antibiotics of tetracycline groups and its application

, : A method of labeling norwegian rat bones by combining 4 antibiotics of tetracycline groups and its application. Zoologicheskii Zhurnal 60(9): 1411-1414

A method is proposed which markedly extends the possibilities of 9 previously described methods of labeling animals by tetracyclines. Due to application of several antibiotics and their combinations, the number of possible markers is brought up to 7. The identification of markers is carried out after the isolation of antibiotics from the bones by means of paper chromatography on discs. Variants of the method proposed are developed for different cases.
