Assay of elucidation of the phylogeny of tortricidae lepidoptera on the basis of functional morphology

, : Assay of elucidation of the phylogeny of tortricidae lepidoptera on the basis of functional morphology. Przeglad Zoologiczny 20(3): 315-323

A short history of studies on the system of the family, an analysis of the usefulness of several characters, a trial of phylogeny elucidation and a proposed system of Tortricidae are presented. The most important aspect of tortricid evolution was the reinforcement of the ventral complex in the male copulation apparatus, and increasing its power of holding down the female abdomen during copulation. The phylogenetic lineage of Tortricidae is shown.
