Chromosome analysis of various barley cultivars

, : Chromosome analysis of various barley cultivars. Doklady Vsesoyuznoi Ordena Lenina i Ordena Trudovogo Krasnogo Znameni Akademii Sel'skokhozyaistvennykh Nauk Imeni V I Lenina (2): 4-6

The comparative cytogenetic analysis of 3 barley cultivars conducted with the use of differential C-banding of chromosomes made it possible to determine intracultivar differences in the quantity and distribution of C-heterochromatin regions. These data indicate that real possibility of using C-heterochromatin regions of chromosomes as a cytogenetic marker in breeding.
