Clinical value of pathologic left axis deviation in patients with left bundle branch block

, : Clinical value of pathologic left axis deviation in patients with left bundle branch block. Kardiologia Polska 29(7): 425-431

Results of clinical assessment of 80 patients with left bundle branch block (LBBB) and pathologic left-axis deviation were compared with ones of 81 patients wiht LBBB and no heart axis deviation. Frequency of occurrence of conduction system primary and secondary disease, as well as, type and progression of conduction system secondary disease did not differ in the compared groups. Obtained data indicate, that estimation of heart axis deviation in the frontal plane has no prognostic value and cannot be used in clinical assessment.
