Detection of poisonous substances in honey which caused intoxication

, : Detection of poisonous substances in honey which caused intoxication. Bulletin of National Institute of Hygienic Sciences (Tokyo) (98): 32-35

Many aconitum pollen grains were found in honey products which caused intoxication of persons in Akita and Fukushima Prefectures [Japan] in Aug. 1979. One alkaloid in the honey sample of Fukushima Prefecture was identified as aconitine by TLC and gas chromatography, and other poisonous substances to Oryzias latipes (Himedaka) were detected in both honey samples.
