Effectiveness of complex treatment of early cerebral athero sclerosis with transient disorders of cerebral circulation

, : Effectiveness of complex treatment of early cerebral athero sclerosis with transient disorders of cerebral circulation. Vrachebnoe Delo (3): 49-51

A follow-up investigation is presented of 165 patients suffering from early cerebral atherosclerosis and a history of transient cerebral circulatory disorder: 76 of them were treated at the Yalta Research Institute of Physical Methods of Treatment and Medical Climatology [USSR]; 89 received a course of complex treatment at the Kiev Research Institute of Gerontology; 55 patients were examined 1 yr later to compare the 2 methods of rehabilitation. Results indicate a high effectivenes of both health resort and complex drug treatment of patients with early cerebral atherosclerosis. These therapeutic-prophylactic measures should be introduced into practice.
