, : Flavonoids from the flowers of nyctanthes arbor tristis. Vijnana Parishad Anusandhan Patrika 19(4): 377-380

D-mannitol was obtained by cooling of the concentrates extract of the colored corolla tube of the flowers of N. arbor-tristis Linn. The presence of 2 flavonoids was detected by chromatography of the extract. One was isolated and characterized as astraglin and 2nd was proposed to be nicotiflorin.
