Descriptions, keys, distributional notes and ecological data on 1122 taxa are given in the 2nd entry of this series on the French flora. The main divisions included the following groups: Juglandales and Julianiales; Terebinthales and Rubiales; Contortales (Contortae) and Tubiflores; Cneorales; Ebenales; Geraniales(Gruinales) and Malvales(Columnifera); and tricoccous plants. New taxa included Onosma tauricum ssp. helveticum (O. helveticum(DC.) Boiss.) comb. nov.; O. fastigiatum ssp. atlanticum Br.-Bl. ssp. nov.; and Mentha graveolens ssp. insularis (Req.) Greuter var. Reverchonii (Rouy) comb. nov. (M. insularis Req.). The index contains an alphabetical list of the taxa arranged under genus headings.
