Histo immunological studies on regional lymph nodes in cancer of the breast

, : Histo immunological studies on regional lymph nodes in cancer of the breast. Nichidai Igaku Zasshi 38(2): 489-512

Factors of the outer cortical area were not correlated to tumor-host relationships, but were related to age. Factors of the paracortical area and lymphoid sinus were related to the tumor-host relationships, and were important to cell-mediated immunity. Factors of the medullary cord showed no correlations. The response of the paracortical area and lymphoid sinus may be important in connection with regional lymph nodes in cancer-bearing bodies [in humans].
