Influence of nutritional additives based on soybeans on the main physiological factors involved in the production of broiler meat

, : Influence of nutritional additives based on soybeans on the main physiological factors involved in the production of broiler meat. Lucrari Stiintifice Institutul Agronomic "Nicolae Balcescu" Medicina Veterinaria 22: 27-32

Nutritional additives based on soybean cakes (heat treated) or ground soybeans do not appear to stimulate body weight gain or reduce specific food consumption in young broilers up to the age of 60 days. These feeding conditions seem to increase lipemia and pancreac lipase. There is a decrease in pancreatic trypsin and protidemia [proteinemia]. There is no change in glycemia. Heat treating of soybean cakes appears to reduce their inhibiting effect on pancreatic trypsin.
